“I worked at a Wal-Mart store for a year before transferring to a distribution center, where I worked for over a decade. My friend and I are writing a book about the Distribution Center—what a pathetic place. The lies that spew from the mouths of the ‘management!’ I ‘open doored’ my coach in the maintenance department for racial comments he made that were inappropriate and racist. On another occasion, he told me that ‘women don’t belong in the maintenance dept.’ And on yet another occasion, that he ‘only gets lucky on Fridays…’ which would explain a lot of things about him. Anyway, when he finally figured out who reported him (and boy it took him a LONG time!) the retaliation began. When I reported the retaliation, warehouse management defended him. So I quit. And went on to bigger and better places.”
