I have never been treated as badly in a job as I was at Wal-Mart
I asked my co-manager if I could have the same general starting times each day and he said yes, he would put me on 11 to 8. Within a few weeks, I was scheduled for 6am starts and 1pm starts. I was coached and written up for having 15 minutes of overtime in one week. I was speechless.
I have never been treated as badly in a job as I was at Wal-Mart. No matter how well I did, I was told it was not enough and that if I didn’t like it, perhaps I should work somewhere else. I eventually did. I am a high functioning employee and have many years worth of superior job ratings. I have won awards and bonuses because of my job performance. However, at Wal-Mart, I was made to feel like a worker bee and that I should be happy to be there.
