Management Turns Blind Eye To Rediculous Things

Unemployment did not agree and I won the right to collect. Since I have left the people are afraid to speak up for their rights. One girl had a stroke on the sales floor because the managers refused to let her go home or go to the doctor. One employee had a seizure and was lying on the floor and the managers didn’t even know he was an employee; the managers stood there and watched him twitch.

One girl was fired after telling on 2 assistants that were in the freezer making love. She got fired and one of the assistants has since been promoted.  I was told fraternization doesn’t mean what Webster’s dictionary says; it has a different meaning at Wal-Mart. One employee who still works there has repeatedly used the “N” word towards another employee. Many people have gone to management but nothing was ever done about it. I repeatedly had to work without a lunch but was told to write in a punch. The time clock automatically punched me out at the time my shift was supposed to end. When I went to punch out for the day the time clock said it was too early for the shift to end.

When I questioned this and said that if I hadn’t said anything I wouldn’t have been paid for my overtime that is when they fired me. When unemployment questioned it they had nothing to say and did not deny that this is a common practice at Wal-Mart.  If there were a union the people would have a voice. At this point the people you have to go to is upper management and they are the ones who get paid the high salaries to keep the secrets of the seedy operations of the Wal-Mart Corporation.  The Human Resources person was overheard saying she could care less about the employees; working for Wal-Mart just looks good on her resume. Wal-Mart employees need a voice and a union.
