SHOCKING…..Wal-Mart’s Open Door Fails Again

“I learned just the other day that they demoted the whole market team. They were called in one by one and told that they had six weeks to find themselves a lower paying job with the company and if they didn’t, they would be given a severance package.  From what I understand, they all found something they were willing to do with the company. What I don’t get is how they are allowed to keep their jobs at all. If they broke the retaliation rule and played games with people’s livelihoods, what makes upper management think they won’t do it at their lower positions?

The regime has crumbled at the Woodstock store as well as the surrounding district but there are a lot of good workers who lost their jobs because of the lack of integrity of this company. One of the latest casualties of the Woodstock store got her call from unemployment and was shocked when the gentleman said, “let me guess you were fired for a lunch violation and it was for a minute and the co-manager Frieda was involved.”  Recently I had to go to the local food pantry for some help and they told me that it was sad because they helped Wal-Mart open with the promise of donations from the company and they have seen nothing and they have been open for two years. And here they are having to help the very people that they are putting out of work for such stupid reasons. This is a small town and I for one am not going to quit talking to people about how Wal-Mart hurts people more than they help.  All my job interviews say the same thing that they have all heard that this Wal-Mart is the worst and that they have heard nothing good about it. I would have no problem walking in there and yelling union, union, union.”
