Wal-Mart’s number one priority…..MONEY
However, as soon as you are no longer on temporary status, they cut your hours down to less than 30. That is if you stay 90 days. Since the turnover rate is close to 85%, very few stay. There is only one thing Wal-Mart cares about and that is money. They live, breathe, and sleep money. Working for Wal-Mart also means terrible working conditions, inexperienced managers, low pay and horrible health insurance plans. This is not the company started by Sam Walton. It is a multi-billion dollar company that only cares about making money and spending as little of it as possible. They don’t care about the customers and they damn sure don’t care about their employees. We need a union like a desert needs rain. But since no one can stop a company this big it will never happen. I would love to find another job but and they know this. In the area I live in Wal-Mart is the only place hiring. I hate working for this terrible evil company but as long as people don’t care about the consequences of low priced goods, things will never chagne. The employees at Wal-Mart will continue to pay a terrible price for those savings. Enjoy your low prices and think about what the employees of China-Mart have to endure as you watch your low grade $100.00 cheaper TV.
