Why can’t Wal-Mart pay a fair wage?
It seems like corporate slavery to me. Their are less than 150 employees at my store, and many of them like me are college students. Many of the positions are not even staffed to meet the demands of the customers or the community. Someone once told me, “If you’re working a job, and you can’t pay your bills then you shouldn’t be working.” Well I can’t afford not to work I need the money; but the little money I get is only enough to cover one or two of the bills I can pay. The rest usually waits until the next check, and then i’m struggling trying to get food and gas. Their ethics and morals are totally oblivious to the rights of hard working American families. I guess putting Wal-Mart before everything else is more important than school, family, or life! At least that’s what it feels like sometimes…
